This duet was originally written for Alto
Voice, Viola & Piano. It is based on two Christmas texts,
one an old German Christmas carol, "Joseph Lieber, Joseph
Mein", and the other a poem by Geibel.
This transcription works equally well as
a horn & trombone duet, or for two horns or two trombones.
